Organizational Wellness

Growing up in the beautiful Adirondack mountains, Mari has always enjoyed adventuring outside and being active. She values the tremendous benefits of prioritizing well-being, and her passion for health naturally developed into a calling as a wellness professional. She joined The Richards Group in March 2021.

Mari believes in the value of data-driven well-being strategies. She works closely with clients to understand their organizational culture, capacity for wellness planning, and measures of success. Her recommendations and strategies are tailored to best fit the needs of each employer and their workforce. Her mission is to empower employees to lead healthier, happier, and more productive lives.

Before joining The Richards Group, Mari worked as a Wellness Engagement Consultant at Cigna and as a Population Health Management Strategist at Cerner Corporation. She has supported several award-winning wellness programs and a variety of clients, including large and small employers, municipalities, universities, and health systems.

Mari received her M.S. in Health and Human Movement from Utah State University, her B.S. in Kinesiology from Queen’s University, and is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing. In addition, she is proud to be certified in Mental Health First Aid through the National Council of Behavioral Health. She lives in Burlington, Vermont with her English bulldog and is a four-time finisher of the Boston Marathon.
