Kate joined The Richards Group in January 2020 as our HR & Marketing Coordinator, filling a newly-defined role. Her role has since changed to Marketing & Culture Specialist, a unique role that has expanded its reach to include improved communications and positive company culture. Kate received her BA in Pre-Law at Elms College and obtained her MBA in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.

Before joining our team, she filled the role of Administrative Operations Manager at a brewery in Massachusetts. She focused on finance, licensing, office management, and human resources alongside her passion— event planning. Kate's other experience includes similar hybrid roles with time spent on the operations team of a beer distributor in Keene, NH, where she managed a promotional marketing team, processed receivables, assisted customers, and backed the sales team by handling telephone sales. Before that, Kate was a full-time paralegal and then freelanced in her spare time until she gradually exited the legal field altogether. Adding Kate's Human Resources, Administrative, and Marketing prowess to our team will grow and strengthen our internal support.

Kate is actively involved in her family's non-profit, Jessica's Closet, located in Wilmington, VT, and coaches Girls On The Run in Keene, NH. She currently lives in Swanzey, NH, with her husband Eric, and in her free time, she enjoys outdoor exercise, glamping, gardening, and making sure her dog Winston lives his best life.
